Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington D.C.
Dr. Clyde Rivers and Dr. Wiley S. Drake
The Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington D.C. hosted the second annual “Honor a Veteran Day” on Veterans Day 2012. We at CPC of Washington D.C. hold a strong view that our veterans have protected our freedom in the United States of America and around the world and are worthy of great honor. The Chairman, Wiley Drake Sr. and Co-Chairman, Dr. Clyde Rivers believe it’s the right thing to do. Our veterans have fought, many losing their lives and some obtaining major injury resulting in disfigurement and crippling, while protecting those in need of protection around the world and at home. Dr. Rivers, Co-Chairman of CPC says, “We owe our lives to the protectors of our freedom. Let’s honor our veterans’ everyday, not just on Veterans Day. Please, WE the people, continue to join together in honoring our vets.”
